Looking for a nice paint colour for my hall, stairs and landing
Pale beige carpet
Not much natural light except from the front door
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Dulux Egyptian Cotton

Egyptian cotton is quite grey - I'd go natural calico

Thanks

Not beige, but we've used a valspar copy of f&b pale powder - its a really nice light green, works anywhere, nice and neutral, works really well.

Definitely natural calico

Delux Timeless- a nice chalky/creamy white . We're having our dull Hall decorated with it and it's looking great so far (not finished yet).

Interestingly I have tried the colours mentioned plus others in our hall. Natural calico was too light/white so too stark. Natural hessian was slightly warmer. Egyptian Cotton has no grey in the light we have and I've tried it in several places. Timeless just looked white. I think you have to try them in situ.

Love timeless but with my 2 DC and dh it would look grubby in hours Sad
Have decided on natural calico Smile

Natural hessian too dark for my tastes
Thanks for all the advice! Smile

Just painted our hall with Dulux Elderflower Tea. We did tester of Egyptian Cotton but it looked dark greyish beige, which was surprising as our hall is very light

Ah now Elderflower Tea very much had a green tinge when we tried that out. Other pale creamy brown colours can look lilac/grey too.
