Grey paint in north facing hall?

Thinking of F&B Ammonite (or even better something similar but cheaper from Dulux if anyone has any recommendation) for lounge and kitchen

Would the grey tones in Ammonite make the hall too dark? I'm thinking white would be better, and if so what? (not a fan of yellow tones)

Thanks

I love grey and think it works in warm and cool rooms. It seems to look fresh in sunny places and warm in darker places. Go for it and accessorise with a bit of colour (coat rack, picture, copper framed mirror/light.) you can make any colour work. I too hate yellow tones!

We just had our room decorated in Helmsley paint - colour Lopen Sand. It's basically homebases faux F&B. On the pain chart it looks beige but in our East facing room it's definitely grey. It's a lovely light colour.
