Help me decorate my downstairs loo!

Its functional and boring! Currently all white with some dark wood shelves set into an alcove.

Im hankering after wallpaper I think? Need to replace the floor too. Anyone care to share their loo for inspiration?

I love a really crazy full-on print or colour in a small space… will link some ideas…

Not mine but I've got these saved on my Pinterest board. I especially love the penny floor.

Ours has blackboard paint on 3 walls and the ceiling (the fourth wall is inside the shower). We have pots of chalk in there and encourage scribbling by everyone who uses it.

Outing for any who have seen it, but this is one of my downstairs loos. I think of it as Alice in Djemma el Fnarr. The room is tiny so hard to photograph but there's also a hand beaten silver mirror and a Moroccan glass lantern as a light shade

Ours is dark grey and covered in framed photos, drawing etc. Hotchpotch of frames from charity shops.

Friends have theirs wallpapered in custom made wallpaper of old maps of their village. I love it!

I'm about to do mine in a colourful parrot design wallpaper. It's only small and has a large boiler cupboard in there too so I'm having the doors of the boiler cupboard wallpapered too!

This is mine, we went a bit crazy with it as I had wanted to use this paper for ages and my children are not flowery types unfortunately.

We've got this: Boråstapeter Chestnut Blossom. We got paint matched to the blue background and painted the ceiling with it and we have a peruvian mirror above the sink. The previous owners had painted it magnolia, I love it so much now.

We used to be massive US theme park fans and our downstairs loo had all the ride photos on the walls. We could lose people in there for ages and hear them hooting with laughter!

I love my flamingos with black tiles and blind. Clearly the only light fitting that would go was a mini chandelier!

We used to have ours papered with booze labels. Got a bit much when the label was how you chose your beer/wine/gin4!

Have NC for this as too outing but we updated our downstairs loo last year which was very dull - no colour other than the tiled area behind sink. We added tongue & groove half level to walls & painted, wall-papered above & then various accessories
