Anyone else think all the neutral/beige tiles etc are really boring?

We're finally getting our own place after years of renting boring neutrally decorated houses. The house we're buying is a bit of a project house and we're going to put in a new kitchen and bathroom but all the colours, of tiles especially, seem really dull. I don't want bright orange or anything but maybe a nice blue or red? I'm thinking of a pale, fairly orangy (to avoid lime green) yellow in the living room but is even that going too far?

I hear you. I've been looking for an emerald green tile for my kitchen. Everything seems very dull that I've seen.

I kind of agree but its really hard to change tiles if you get bored of them. Id love to have a peacock blue tiles in my kitchen but instead im goimg for ivory tiles with bright paint.
