Hello All :)

I'm looking for some inspiration so if you are willing to tell me what colour your bedroom walls , bed linen & curtains are it would be much appreciated .

I do really like F & B colours so if anybody is able to name their paint that would be great - Thankyou .

My bedroom walls are 'elderflower tea', my bedsheets are a light cream cotton and curtains are a dark blue.

White Bed linen (always!).

We have Laura Ashley Pale Dove Grey on the walls this (looks more grey), charcoal grey upholstered bed / ottoman / curtains.

Then a feature wall (I know, shouldn't admit it on MN!) of a kind of silvery / pale grey muted patterned floral wallpaper. Its lovely even if I do say so myself.

The only issue is that DH and I nearly divorced when hanging the wallpaper as it was massively expensive and really difficult to work with!!

Haha name changed my sister had a very similar experience !

Recently redecorated with F&B Brassica paint on the walls - it's a dark colour but looks great with white fireplace and furniture. Creamy white curtains (and yes they have black out lining) and white bedding. I previously had pale blue walls and they were very calming but wanted something completely different.

Those with white curtains ... Do you need to get them cleaned often ?

With regards to the curtain cleaning.. no, not once in 3 years have ours needed cleaning but they do get a quick blast over, particularly at the top, with the hoover pipe brush attachment thingy. Grin gets a little dusty up there.

I'm looking for some blush pink bedding to go with my duck egg blue walls and cream curtains and walls but can't find 'the' one. it's so frustrating.

80sMum · 16/06/2016 00:45

Walls are Dulux Chalky White 2, curtains are mauve, blinds are white, bedding is a mix of white, lilac and yellow.

I like grey shade in my living room. Suggest me a good custom made rug provider so that i can have grey woolen rug for my living room.

NoMudNoLotus · 16/06/2016 16:45

Ladybird have you looked in Laura Ashley ?

Our bedroom is grey, but if I were re-decorating, it would be painted in Farrow and Ball Dutch Pink (or possibly Dead Salmon). Dutch Pink is not all that pink, it is lovely and warm without being overpowering, plus it looks lovely in all light conditions.

I would have woodwork painted in the same colour as the walls and very simple curtains.

ClementineWardrobe · 16/06/2016 17:13

Walls are a deep purply brown called Edwardian maroon. Ceiling and woodwork is exactly the colour of Bailey's Irish cream liqueur, carpets are cream, bed linen is plain cream/off white, all furniture is 1930's deep dark woods, mostly walnut, all gorgeous pieces. We have very dark striped curtains, similar colour to walls, and all pictures are nude figure paintings or line drawings of various poses of the human body or parts of the body (mainly Michaelangelo and Modigliani). A black brass headboard with brass bed knobs too.

Plain pink Ladybird?

Tubbyinthehottub · 16/06/2016 17:59

Pale blue. It's a Little Green paint, maybe the same as posted above. No curtains, we have white shutters and oak floor and furniture. Looks lovely. Just have plain white bedding.

WindPowerRanger · 16/06/2016 18:19

ladybird, look at Volga Linen Company. It's not cheap, mind.

NoMudNoLotus · 16/06/2016 21:52

Tubby Iv ordered a sample of that paint Smile

no, wankers and wind thanks I'll take a look. I know exactly what I'm looking for! I'm so fussy but it has to be spot on.

ladybird69 · 17/06/2016 00:46

wankers paler than that just a 'blush' of pink, watered down. like a pale rose. I want it to be antique/ romantic theme.

ladybird69 · 17/06/2016 00:50

wind that's what I want but unfortunately way beyond my price range. HmmSad

WindPowerRanger · 17/06/2016 16:52

Oh, bummer, ladybird.

I have got 2 lovely rose pink linen sheets that I found in TKMaxx, of all places, some years ago. Super discounted. It is worth looking in there, especially the bigger branches, because while their bedlinen dept is not the glory it once was, they do still get nice stuff. My last triumph was a cheap DKNY bedding set that is so super soft that whenever I use it I can't the children off my bed.
