Thanks for the suggestions - it's really the little cabriole legs l want. The others all seem much chunkier

Perhaps I'll try searching for an Indian platform bed if that's what you think it's based on

Justaweeone - that's where I bought my last two beds. I think they might be a bit too fancy pants to copy the urban outfitters one

I've found an opium bed on google but it's still quite chunky, and dark wood

I have a carpenter coming this afternoon to put down floor -perhaps I'll ask him about the making option - thanks for the helpful suggestions!

The heavy dark one is over £1000 which seems a lot for such a simple bed which wasn't right in the first place
