Would this blind go with black carpet

It is a bright room Intended to be used an an office / my own space

I could change the carpet as I would like a more feminine look but I would need to save for a while.

The carpet is charcoal grey - nearly black with cream and blue through it.

My other option is to paint the room white and go for a grey blind with sparkle (Dunhelm)

I love this pattern. We have a window seat with it on and it looks fab. I think it goes with pretty much any colour so if you like it go for it!
