Bathroom branded products?

Hi, I am re-decorating my bathroom. I went to bathstore to get some ideas, for a new shower, towel rail, toilet, bath, taps, etc they qouted me £3,300. That doesn't include the cost of tiles or labour.

Question is for that price is it better to get quality products like a Duravit toilet, Hansgrohe taps,etc?

Any recommendations, im a complete novice to this.

I wouldn't skimp on taps in a main bathroom or kitchen - when you think how many times they get used in a day you come to appreciate a solid one. But eBay and Amazon are surprisingly good
