Wood flooring on bathrooms

Has anyone got (or had) a wood floor in their bathroom?
I like the way it looks plus it would be warmer underfoot than tiles.
I've read that you can get certain engineered wood floors that work in bathrooms but I'm wondering how it works out in practice? Do they last or go all manky?

I'm having a new bathroom and I've chosen vinyl flooring with a plank design. New stuff doesn't look like 'Lino' and its grippy underfoot with wet feet. I'm really looking forward to mine being finished. Stuff like Polyflor tiles look really good too. Don't think I'd risk having real wood in a bathroom.

www.leoline.co.uk/collection/woodmark
Have a look at this, I've been advised this is good quality and good value for money.

Have a look at that website www.gtbulders.uk they offer a lot of services and also in good prices.

I had a specialist wooden floor for my bathroom in my last house, I forget the name but they are made for wet/humid rooms. I lived with it for 8 years and it looked as good when I moved out as it did when I bought it. That was in a bathroom with no window too. Was pricey though and this was a while back.

I have the fake wood vinyl stuff in my kitchen now, it's nowhere near as nice.

Depends what you want to spend.
My bathroom's 4m x 3m, didn't want to spend more on flooring than on my bathroom suite. Grin

Had same dilemma and have just gone for wood effect karndean in both bathrooms and can have under floor heating. Very pleased with how they look.
