Do king size duvet covers come with king size pillow cases?

Hello!

My bf and I bought a king size bed for the first time and we saw that you can buy king size pillows for the bed, which I longer then standard size. But... when you buy a duvet set that comes with pillowcases, are the pillowcases also in king size?

I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this :)

Many thanks!

No. The pillow cases are usually standard size.

I've always found the pillow cases are for normal sized pillows. Didn't know you could get king size pillows. When I've stayed in very posh places with enormous beds, there's often 3 pillows across the bed (all normal sized though).

King size beds aren't that massive. They're only 6" wider than a normal double. Ordinary pillows, which only need ordinary pillowcases, fit fine.

I agree with Stick - you only need to consider king size pillows on a superking, where normal pillows can look a bit lost.
