which curtains with this wall paper?

So, we have the chimney breast papered in Hicks Hexagon. The alcoves either side are a deep petrol blue. The remaining walls are a pale gold. We live in a 1930s end of terrace, so the room isn't large, approx 10x10ft. We have a low black and wood coffee table, a grey Made sofa and have a couple of Ercol chairs with shades of high yellow/gold patterned covers

I'm thinking plain curtains. But what colour? Deep blue? Will that bring the room in too much?

Apparently it's blues with burnt gold, innit.

I'd go for the gold/yellow option personally

Yy pp gold/yellow/mustard think blue curtains would be overkill.
