Help 😀 I've never had to buy curtains before so I don't understand the sizing. The window I'm shopping for is 75" by 56" when I see curtains advertised as 66" x something is this the width of one curtain or the width of both curtains or the width it would cover??

The width refers to the individual curtain when stretched. Standard heavy curtains tend to come in combinations of 3 widths 46, 66(?) and 90 and 3 lengths 54, 72 and 90.
You want a bit of gather, at least 1.5-2 times the actual window width. Assuming your measurements are for a shorter wider window, I'd go for a 66 or 90 width. The length you choose will depend on how long you want them to hang. I'd suggest measuring both 66 and 90 against the window and see which suits.

Thanks. I was looking for ones that were 75" width or above and was wondering why I couldnt find more than about two pairs. So that explains it 😀
