What sort of curtains/blinds would you put in this window?

Window is north facing. I don't like the look of the current blinds - feels a bit like an office. I'm not sure whether to do curtains or roman blinds or something else so thought I'd see if you had some ideas.

What about roller blinds? Looking at the pic you'd need 3. Curtains would definitely soften the look though.

Pencil pleat curtains with make it look much more homely. We have a box bay window that looks the same size and curtains.
