Protection for new sofa

Can anyone recommend something to protect a new fabric sofa? I'm thinking of something like a spray to protect it from vom/snot/milk etc as have two children under three.

No. But I just bought a Guardsman protection plan alongside some new sofas. Think it was £150, nothing compared to what I paid for them. They protect for 5 years and will come out to clean and remove stains and if they can't I believe they replace them.

Might be worth seeing if you can buy a similar plan?
