I am stuck! Love this paper but cannot find a paint to compliment it. If you have this, what have you paired it with in terms of paint?

Sorry, it is the white-ish one with the turquoise/green dragonflys. I favour a grey-ish paint but am stuck. Thanks.

I am an idiot. Please ignore. I actually think the grey-ish one would be best which wasn't in stock in the store I was in today. www.osborneandlittle.com/file.axd?pointerid=67aa1d0860c445968218e7343589329f&w=392&w=586
Does anyone have this? It is for a bedroom with lots of white furniture.

I don't have it, but I love it. I am thinking of getting the material for curtains for the spare room. We have this: www.tangletree-interiors.co.uk/wallpaper/osborne-and-little/samana-wallpaper-by-matthew-williamson/bird-of-paradise/bird-of-paradise---w6655-06/ as a blind in our bedroom and I love it so much.

Oh it is lovely!
i would get the one with the tuquoise in it, but I love a bit of colour.
Sorry no idea about paint matching, we really struggled to find a grey colour to match in our bedroom last year, they were all slightly too beige, and i wanted more silvery grey.
IloveCheese11 · 02/03/2016 22:23
Sorry, wrong link. This is the one I have: www.janeclayton.co.uk/product/birdofparadise/58224 The previous one was the wallpaper.
The dragonflies are gorgeous in the grey, it really emphasizes the detail. Not sure about grey paint though. It might make it look a bit samey. Maybe a cool blue?

Try Sandersons Boulder White. It's a really pale grey that works well with beige/brown tones as well as other greys and silvers. John Lewis do match pots.
I love that grey dragon fly paper and thank you, you have just found me the paper to use in the spare bedroom!!!!!!

i feel like wings are brushing me-it wd give me nightmares. But silvery grey wd be a good colour match.

I think it's lovely. Could you take a sample into a paint shop that has one of those mixing machines and get them to zap the background colour and mix it for you ?
ali23 · 04/03/2016 16:05
Nancy - why did I not think of something so obvious?? Thank you!
