Warm neutral paint for bedroom

Hi! I'm looking for suggestions for paint for a bedroom.

I've attached a picture showing what it currently looks like. We'll be keeping the carpet.

It's a small room, 7' x 8', south-facing and will be used a nursery.

I'd like a warm neutral colour, something like magnolia but less yellowy and more browny. I'd consider a light colour or something with a little more strength.

I don't really like grey or greige!

Thanks!

We did DS2's room in borrowed light by Farrow and Ball. It is a white with a lot of blue in it/ v pale blue. It is not cold, it is a very serene colour. No yellow in it, but not very warm either (although not cold in my opinion).

Natural hessian is good, Calico is a little paler but still warm neutral and not yellowy
Egyptian cotton also more beige tones than yellow

Saw duck egg blue (dulux I think) and it was lovely and warm - neutral but not 'boy'ish with it being a blue. Looked great with a similar tone to your carpet

I used Dulux Natural Hessian in my bedroom with a carpet similar to yours. It's lovely and warm and calming.

Another vote for Dulux Egyptian Cotton

I would go for white with the carpet. Then add accessories

I loves Dulux calico. Even DP commented on what a nice warm cream it was (this is a man who seems to go round with his eyes closed a lot of the time...)

Thanks for the suggestions. Ended up getting sample pots of Egyptian Cotton and, because my other half wanted to try something a little darker, Soft Truffle. Will let you know how it goes.
