Please help- need to decorate our bedroom and have no vision whatsoever!

DC2 due in September and so we will be moving and redecorating bedrooms. DH and I will be moving into a south facing bedroom which has two long walls and a small window on one short wall opposite fitted wardrobes on the other short wall. Bed would be on left hand side long wall.

I need (don't ask) to reuse curtains which are pictured- they do look nicer in RL.

Our current bedroom is blah magnolia so fancy something different- I know feature walls are passé on MN but I don't really mind I would quite like one. But can I have wallpaper with such heavily patterned curtains? or maybe just one wall in a duck egg blue? Which wall- one of the long ones or the short one with wardrobe?

Any suggestions for bedding? Do I need to go plain with the curtains being patterned?

Any suggestions much appreciated- any creative inspiration I may have had seems to be going down the toilet along with morning sickness!

You could paint the room grey.. a strong frey could work

I can't link but I just looked at the bedeck website and there are loads of options. There are have type colours that would work and make it more on trend with a dark grey wall but I think If you want a freshlook you could go for fresh white walls and the aqua stripe duvet set. It's gorgeous.

Thank you both. Grey is definitely an idea and would be a welcome change from what we have now (cream wallpaper). I will have a look at the bedeck website not heard of it before.
Zaza I waste hours om pinterest but it just gives me house envy I think I'm just lazy, I want someone to say, right, paint the walls this colour and get this bedding

I would paint behind the bed in farrow and ball stiffkey blue, or all the walls if you are feeling brave.
