Help picking neutral for north facing house

Right my house is north facing, lounge and hall both dark. I would like to paint them a neutral colour, white, cream, grey or similar. I'd like something to make them brighter. Ideally I'd like it to be a 'popular' colour that isn't likely to be discontinued anytime soon as I'll need to touch up fairly often due to kids and dogs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Timeless by dulux is a popular choice. We have it in north facing rooms and I like it.

Almond White? I think it can be a bit magnolia in south facing areas, but more classicly cream in north.

I was coming to recommend Dulux Timeless as well. It was the only shade that worked in my North facing living room in my last house.

That's great, timeless it will be!

We're using a copy of F&B's pale powder - it works pretty much anywhere. It is actually a very pale green, but looks grey in certain lights, but the green means its warm.

We got a Valspar copy of it, went in to get it matched & they already had it programmed in. Apparently we were the 8th couple that day to ask for it.
