To go in a large seating area in the front of a red brick terrace?

Sorry about awful link, it's this stype of house but a slightly darker/dirtier looking red with a long garden to the front. Most images I can find opt for slate grey or sand stone but only over a small area; ours will go across the whole of the front and come out a few metres too.

Or York stone; possibly a cheaper alternative?
