Christmassy lights to wrap along staircase?

Know it is still early, but it is our first Christmas in our first house so getting a bit excited. We have a lovely open staircase and landing, and I think it would be really pretty with lots of twinkly lights...but not sure where I would get a very long set. Fwiw the staircase is cream, so something that would blend well. Any ideas? Thanks

I got those kind of lights in Maplin's last winter.

I got some on ebay last year from a company called something like FunLights, I got gold stars which I wrap around the bannister (they did them in silver too), they were only about £5. They look lovely in the evening.

I got mine from b&q a few years ago. Think it's 480 lights. Just make sure you get a clear wire and not green X
