what colour woodwork to go with Pale Hound (lightish Yellow)

We've just changed the wall colour from warm pinky grey to pale hound. It's a gorgeous limey/yellow colour but I'd like to paint the woodwork darker so the wall colour really stands out. Any suggestions? Would a warm dark grey like Charleston grey go? Or a browny/yellow like Hay? Most photos of pale yellow rooms show crisp white woodwork, but it's a second reception room and we can afford to be a little more daring in this room. The room is south east facing. It loses it's direct sun light by lunchtime.

Suggestions other than f&b are welcome too!

Funky feline?

In most circumstances, cats and dogs do not go well together.

I usually like white woodwork but saw your thread title and immediately thought of grey woodwork. Charleston grey might be a wee bit too dark, ddepends on the lighting.

Thanks minipie. Any other suggestions?

I like Charleston Grey (my first thought) and and also a greener grey (French grey?) I don't particularly like hay.....a bit too samey and institutional.
