After many years of renting, we're finally moving into our first home, the house comes with a new kitchen, (Howden stone, I've attached a picture, although that's not my actual kitchen!). Nice as it is, it's not what I would have chosen as I like bright/striking colours. So, my question is this: what colour could I paint the walls that goes with the units, but is bright or striking? I was thinking a dark blue maybe like the Cook's Blue, but all suggestions welcome!
Changing the units not an option at this point unfortunately.

The cooks blue looks quite dark so would probably avoid unless it's a big airy kitchen.
what colour are the worktops?

Work tops are white and two of the three walls of the kitchen are glass. (No fourth wall as it's all knocked through.)
Thanks for relpy.

I'd go for Blue Ground - make it airy and bright.

What about stiffkey blue. It look amazing on. Since you only have one wall you could go quite dramatic. I think cooks blue would be hard to accesserise. Or light blue would be lovely and understated.

Blue ground looks lovely, I'd like something like that in my bedroom...

Phoenix, I think you're right. I stumbled across Stiffkey on Pinterest last night and I'm ordering my sample pot tonight.

Thanks all!
