Lilac and Grey Bedroom..... Will it last the test of time??

I love lilac and have some nice Next Lilac curtains that I think I might put in our bedroom.

I was thinking Lilac, soft dove grey and silver as a general theme.

However, will grey soon go out of fashion? Maybe I should stick with white or cream??

I have a distressed silver dressing table so can't really not do silver.

you are describing my new living room = mainly light grey with silver and lilac accents + a silver and lilac mural above the fireplace!

I do think grey may go out of fashion but that colour scheme not so much. If you have lilac and silver, then grey is the only neutral that's going to work! I'm worrying about whether to use grey as my downstairs neutral - buts that more with red or teal which don't harmonise as well and lilac and silver would

You'll be fine. Now, I have lots of grey with ochre and mustard - that is going to slam into passe so fast it won't know what's hit it.
