Does anyone know about cork for your floor?

I'd appreciate any views from people who have it.

We had cork flooring put down in our last flat. It was great - looked good, warm, more environmentally friendly than wood, better sound insulation, etc.

You don't remember what coating it had do you? There seems to be all different sorts. I'm getting confused!

Nope. There are only a few suppliers in the UK, we got ours through a shop in north London - and just chose from the options they had.

i have cork for sound insulation under my wood floor. I think the woman in the flat below still hears me altho i wear soft slippers inside or bare feet.

We had it in our bathroom, it's brilliant. Both hard wearing and warm under foot.
