What colour carpet for this wallpaper?

Hi everyone.

I've just moved into a new house. The living room has this wallpaper on one wall and cream on the others. The carpet is bright pink!

The wallpaper is staying for now but the carpet has to go. Now I'm stuck on a suitable colour to go with it. I've had cream in the past but just not practical with a 2 year old.

So any suggestions. Pretty please!

I'd go quite neutral, Like a biscuit/mink colour.

Mink might look more pink than brown against that paper, but beige, light brown, etc are neutral and will work. I think if you went for cream it would look a bit too much like a bedroom colour scheme.
