Colours for girls' bedrooms....toning down the pink

My 5 year olds have mentioned that they want pink. I have shown them a F&B colour chart and they (obviously) chose middleton pink.
I think that seems too much, so want to really tone it down.
I like Cinder rose, but not everywhere as the room is not big.

Can you tell me what colours your daughters have that looks tasteful but satisfies their need for pink?

We have the Laura Ashley equivalents of those two (chalk pink and pale chalk pink on two walls each). Then pink bedding, lamp shades, accessories, baskets, toys ......
Dd complains the pale pink is not pink enough, but it kind of fits with everything being various shades of pink.
Think there's some mileage in two different shades of the same colour. Don't know what else you're chucking in there though.

Can't suggest on actual colours. But I love apple greens and pale pinks, there's a lot of bird and foliage print fabrics and wallpapers that are girlie, pink but not pink over kill

We have green walls with green and pink accents and bedding. Still fulfilled her desire for pink fortunately!

B&Q now mix subtle glitter into their paints when u get it made up in store. We bought a baby pink and a cream with some glitter through and it looks amazing!! Might be a way or bargaining with the girls?!
