Poured resin floors- anyone have them?

We're thinking about having a poured resin floor in our new kitchen but just wanted to know if they are worth the money. We've got issues with two separate substrates - concrete screed on one section and floorboards in the other. The floor company will only guarantee their application of the resin and not the substrate. Our builder doesn't want to guarantee the substrate as he would be liable for replacing the resin floor if there was any problems. We can't seem to find anyone to guarantee the substrate either. Basically if there is an issue with the floor then we have nothing to fall back on.
In addition, a friend of a friend said hers looked dirty after a few months of wear.

Hi! I know that this message is a couple of years old, but I am now in the same position! Did you go with a resin floor? What are your thoughts? Or did you decide it was too high risk? Thanks :-)
