Where to put curtains? Pic

Moving house shortly and not sure where to put curtains in lounge..obviously the front window in first pic but would you put two lots at back one for window and one for doors? Or just one for windows?! Also I have floral grey curtains do would plain grey be ok for other curtains? Hope that all made sense!!

I'd go for roman blinds at the windows and curtains at the French doors.

What's the level of lighting like? Think would be inclined to roman blind it everywhere making sure they just skim the tops of the windows / door when closed. If it's actually quite bright would roman blind it, except for the doors which I'd put a curtain up for (pulled into the corner of the room).

We have Roman blinds at the side windows and curtains on the patio doors. The side windows also have pelmets.
