New French Sage Green Kitchen - want orange and red to compliment

Help, two years back I set my heart on knocking through my house and creating an extension to have a big kitchen, dining, living area. I choose my material from an advert I saw and have since ordered my kitchen. All very exciting.

My problem is that I have chosen French sage green units and I was going to paint the walls white with French green paintwork, but the material I want is too expensive (now that I've looked into it). I have already bought some red and orange accessories, although not a lot admittedly and I'm now struggling to find something zingy that will go - any ideas?

Could you have the fabric you want but use it more sparingly instead? So put a deep border on plain curtains and have a couple of scatter cushions - you only need to do one side in the patterned fabric.

You could even edge a table cloth with it or have a runner made from it.

Look at Prestigious Textiles which does a lot of koff-inspired-by prints.

Initially I wanted to use this fabric for my kitchen blind (approx. 1.5m x 1m) and then also at least one piece as part of my sliding vertical panels for my bi-fold doors (6 panels needed in total), but at over £100 per meter this just isn't viable, especially with two young boys.

With it being such a big room I do think however that it needs a vibrant print that pulls the different rooms together into one, it's just proving really difficult to find vibrant red and orange together. Or do I just need to find a vibrant orange print and mix the red in with panels?
