It looks like its made of the same type of stuff used for ropes.

But its huge. And weatherproof !

If its for a playroom or conservatory I think it would be ideal no matter what its made of .

Depending on age of DD and desired purpose, this could be great for a child! I'm not usually a fan of faux fur (or real fur...) but am v tempted to buy one for my DD's 'reading corner' in her bedroom, since she ignores her chair in favour of the floor...
