Mismatching glass? Opinions please x

Hi mumsnetters, We are getting new windows throughout the house and need your opinion please.
We quite fancy the Mayflower design for the front door and side kitchen and landing window and the Cotswold for the Bathroom (at the rear), the question is, do you think it would look odd having 2 different types of glass? What do you have? Matching throughout or different in the bathroom?

I think the mayflower - and other flowery and swirly designs - are a bit naff. Sorry.

I think it would look more complete and flow better if it matched.

A lot of houses don't have matching glass but seen as you have the chance to get the same I would.

Gosh, both of those glass patterns are really quite dated. I know you get limited options when having new windows but I would avoid either of those like the plague. Do you need obscured glass on your kitchen and landing windows? Can you not just have frosted glass? Or get clear glass and then buy something a bit less 80's to fit to them, like this sort of thing?www.purlfrost.com/

We had mayflower in old bathroom windows (from more than 15 years ago) but recently got new ones, with stippolyte (sp?)

(I'd have prefer proper etched, but it wasn't an option with our window fitters, they only had the Pilkington ones. I know Anglian do etched but they were way more expensive)

I really like the stippolyte & it's much better at obscuring the view in than the other designs
