Spa/whirlpool bath for back pain - worth it?

After some advice before I waste my money.

I suffer from painful back spasms. As I am still bf-ing DS2 I can't take a relaxant atm so the best thing is heat+massage.

We are about to completely redo our bathroom. We currently have a cast iron roll top, which I like because it is nice and deep, but I am considering getting rid of it in favour of a more modern bath with jacuzzi jets, as this might be better for my back? DH isn't sure it's worth it - if it's just swirly water, I'm not sure it is either, but if the jets do have a massaging action I think they will really help.

Anyone got any experience of this?

Can you book onto a B&B with one and try ! I suffer with stiff back and find a deep soak more effective to be honest ! You can buy bubble jets as a submersible addition to any bath too - just plug in and go !!
Hope you find something that helps !!Smile
