Hi renovating our bathroom in next few months and after any recommendations for good quality towels.
We are going neutrel so not much worry about fading but want thick and soft. We dont have a dryer so wont be as soft and fuffy as some peoples but want them to last. Bought a couple last year from tkmaxx lovely soft thick and heavy but fell apart.

Try www.kingofcotton.co.uk and/or www.sleepandsoak.co.uk for excellent quality and brilliant customer service at very reasonable prices. (I have bought from both and am employed by neither!)

I got some lovely ones off Achica a while back, but Sleep and Soak often get recommended on MN.

There are so many different types of towels out there, it can be a bit of minefield as to which ones to get. I used to always get heavy weight Egyptian cotton towels but got some cheaper "ordinary" cotton ones a while ago, and as really disappointed. They weren't as absorbent, and fell apart quite quickly. I replaced them with heavy weight Egyptian cotton ones that I found very reasonably priced at www.homespacedirect.com/bath-linen/towels and I absolutely love them (although they do take a while to dry because they are so thick).

John Lewis do reasonably priced towel bales and they're very good quality too

I'm not normally a fan of Tesco but when we changed the bathroom I bought all new towels from there 5 years ago and they're really lovely quality, wash well and stay fluffy - I don't use the dryer very often and usually chuck them over the washing line. The premium ones, not the cheapest range. Definitely recommend them.

Christy are lovely towels.
I got a bundle in tkmaxx for £20 and they look new 8 or so years on.
Fwiw, don't use fabric conditioner when you wash towels. It affects their absorbency.
