what colour paint to go with lime green on a feature wall?

I am going round in circles and getting no where! The main wall in our sitting room has a log burner and two panels of tongue and groove either side. So I want to paint the middle panel of wall in Dulux Luscious Lime but am stuck as to what colour to paint the tongue and groove panels and the remaining walls. Didnt really want three colours going on. Fancied a white washy grey, have tried three test pots so far and dont like any of them. The greys seems cold and too blue. Any ideas most gratefully welcome. Are there any good websites that would help me choose the right colours? Thanks x

Classic Cream would look good.

I've put dulux Egyptian cotton against a darker green and it looks good.

Bright white would work really well

Dulux colour finder tool also suggests Perfectly taupe and apple white as compatible colours

I bought a tester of Perfectly Taupe as I saw it with the green but once on the wall its quite dark. I wouldn`t mind it on the tongue and groove panels but think it would be too much on the other three walls. The room is small only 12x12. Might try the apple white, I want to keep it bright. Are you changing sofa, carpet, cushions and curtains as well? They don't look like an obvious match for lime but maybe the taupe would pull them in?

Our son has lime green with a crown classic cream in his room, it looks lovely.

Curtains are def gong but as yet haven`t seen any I like or can afford. Sofas have to stay, one is a sofa bed used a lot by my poorly husband, but will get new throws for them, have bought some new colourful cushions will post pic if I can. Carpet will go eventually, its cream wool.....would like a wooden floor but again no money to do it at the moment.

Instead of Luscious Lime could you colour match the limey-yellow in the cushion with the sparrow on it? That looks like a more restful colour and would go better with your sofa?

I could, I do like that colour, but its the colour of the main walls I am really stuck on. Looked up the crown classic cream and it wasn`t on the chart?

I like the cream that you've got on the wall behind the cushion actually - works really well in that picture!
