Bedrooms layout, what do you think?

We're about to move house and I'm struggling to allocate bedrooms.

It's me and dp plus 5 month old dd who is currently bed sharing with me (dp in spare room) but will be in a cot by the time we move and hopefully in her own room.

Were moving to a town house.
1st floor has bathroom plus biggest bedroom (huge!), top floor has small room (single but not a box room) and medium sized room.

We plan to split the 1st floor large room but might not do this immediately. We also want another baby in a couple of years but we'd have a spare room until then. We need an office for dp too.

I worry about having dd on a different floor. Does anyone else have a baby on a different floor? Should we temporarily go up in the medium room while she's in the small room? When we have another should we put them on the 1st floor split room or are we better having them on the top floor and our room and the office on the 1st floor?

help!

I'd say it depends on your dd. if she sleeps quite happily I'd put her on a different floor as long as you have baby listening.
If she needs feeding every 2 hours it would make sense for you to be as near as possible!
