Roman blinds that run smoothly

Would like Roman blinds in my bay window but past experience has been they look great when in place but a pita to put up and down and with it being the lounge I'd like the option.

I've had blinds from next and ikea in the past and both not run smoothly and taken ages to look anything.

I got a kit from Amazon and made it myself. Easy and no trouble using it.

I'm not crafty in the slightest they'd look terrible if I did them

Ooh, I have a really good recommendation. We have just had blinds made by this company (after trawling some old MN threads): www.campbellcreations.co.uk/

We chose our own fabric and sent it to her (postage £11 from England to NI), but she has lots of lovely fabrics too. We got the chain system which is much easier than the usual drawstring, so I'd recommend that wherever you go. They are absolutely beautiful, I am so pleased. She was more expensive than Next, but cheaper than friends who had blinds made in John Lewis.

Sorry, I didn't actually answer your question. They run very smoothly, exactly like pulling up a roller blind.
