We have recently had an extension built and have a Velux Integra window in our bedroom (which is north facing and long so would otherwise be quite dark). Now it's brighter in the mornings we've realised we need a blind - not bothered about blackout but fancy a simple roller.
What we can't decide is whether to fork out for electric operation or just get manual and a pole for half the price!?
Realistically are we likely to be opening and closing the blind that often? I anticipate having it down in summer and up in winter but is that likely from others experience? We are early risers anywayanyway (6.30 at weekends), we just don't want to be woken by glaring sun at 4.30!
