We need one for our playroom so guests can stay over. Not mega expensive or huge as space is an issue. Has anyone got one they recommend? Any top tips welcome!

We have one called Lycksele in our small spare room. you can choose from three types of mattress for it as I recall and there are different covers too.

Watching this with interest as I'm after one too. That lycksele one looks good, is it comfy to sleep on, ChocolateCherry?

Whatever I buy also needs to be either very compact or in lots of bits as it would need to go up twisty cottage stairs.

I did see one that had a storage tray underneath for the bedding. Can't for the life of me remember the name, does it sound familiar? Will try look
Up the actual name, sorry I'm useless!

Yes we've got the lycksele one and I love it. Very comfortable and has lasted well. Really pleased!

Sorry, just seen your question there Selks. I will admit that I have not slept on it myself, but all dc have (they individually decamped to the spare room as their rooms were decorated) and all said it was comfortable. And goodness knows theyd soon tell me if it wasn't Wink We also had a guest stay for a month and he said it was too.

As I say, you can choose your mattress from 3 types. I can't remember which one we got, those Ikea names for things don't stick easily in my brain, but it was a firm-ish one iirc.

There is a box which they sell separately (we bought one too) which slides under it for bedding.

Thanks ChocolateCherry, that's helpful.
