So if you had to buy completely new bed linen............

what would you get?
We are getting a new bed and as it's a bigger one I'm replacing all of our linen.

So - the brief is John Lewis or Laura Ashley (because I can't really be arsed to go anywhere else really). Greys or neutral colours. Everything else in the room is plain so any patterns are OK. Cat friendly - she wakes us up by 'making puddings'.

Hi Pipbin, you need to get onto the QVC website and look at the Kelly Hoppen range they have. I have a few of her 800 threadcount sets which I would never be able to afford from JL.
The linen is fantastic quality and my cats love it ( their comfort is everything ;)). Best of all, it washes like a dream. Mine is white but she does soft greys, blush, eau de nil and taupe. I bought a couple of her bed throws so the cats keep off the actual sheets - they look great but the cats aren't daft and they are straight under them and on to the linen itself.
I chuck a few soda crystals in the washing machine to keep them sparkling white and it certainly works.

We did exactly the same earlier this year. I bought everything online here. There were several things on sale and I think there was free delivery if you spent over £50 - not hard to do when replacing everything.

The courier they used for delivery was excellent.

I've already decided to gradually replace all my bed linen with plain white cotton, there's just something so lovely about getting into a fresh white bed! Not sure if you'd get little pawprints though...

Some interesting suggestions. Thanks you I shall look into them.
I do like the idea of going in to John Lewis and buying loads of stuff in one go though.
