We have a north facing lounge in our rented house. The walls are painted a creamy white colour, but they are papered and have been painted over a million times. Whilst I like neutral light walls I do think it looks a bit yellowy and dull/grubby. It has large windows so is not an overly dark room. Wooden oak floors, black fireplace. I don't want to paint it anything too colourful as its rented, and also not an overly big room. We have Dulux Bleached Lichen 3 paint on the hallway /open plan dining area walls. That area is darker than the lounge but has double doors leading into the lounge. Am thinking of doing the lounge the same colour. I think it's a warm-ish "greggs", I believe it's similar to F&B Elephants Breath. Is that a wise choice or should I be thinking of something completely different? White would be too stark I think. Decor in lounge is neutral for ease, brown leather sofa, brown Roman blinds, striped coloured rug etc. My main concerns are the colour looking right on papered walls. House is 200 years old, walls reflect this and are wonky/bumpy in places!
Am clueless! Please help!
