Looking for some help and recommendations,
master bedroom has a silver/grey large headboard and a light and dark grey woodland type wallpaper then oak bedsides and wardrobes.

Looking for a white paint for the remaining walls but don't want to go brilliant white as it's too cold and bright.
Never really done a room white before so a looking for help on here from those in the know :-)

Craig & Rose Chalk White is a nice soft white.

I really like Dulux Timeless. It's a true white that is quite soft with a tiny bit of warmth to it without altering the colour. I have it in a North facing room and it's lovely and bright without that harsh starkness you tend to get with done other whites.

Do a search on here for Dulux Timeless. It's been mentioned quite a bit. Others descriptions might give you more of an idea.

Brilliant thanks guys :)

my Friday afternoon is to be spent traipsing the aisles of B&Q - but i know those little tester squares they put out aren't really a great example.

at least now i'm armed with a couple of choices :)

I love this article rockmystyle.co.uk/the-right-white/
For our house we had no choice - drying out plaster, so we had to go with Dulux Trade Supermatt White. And I love it! What was interesting was that I was ill in bed a couple of weeks ago and could see how the white looked a different shade in three different rooms simply because it reflected the colours in those rooms e.g. blue-ish, yellow-ish, pink-ish. Something to think about with your house and maybe need to counteract with a particular type of white.

I've just used Dulux timeless in our bedroom with a feature wall wallpaper. The background of the paper is an oystery colour and timeless was a good match.
