we have dormers in the bedrooms so the actual window is recessed behind the overhang of the ceiling. I've got blinds (wooden) at the windows but in the summer too much light comes through the sides which wakes us up.
Could I put curtains up as well by having a curtain pole in front of the blind (still in the recess) or would it be a bit weird? I like blinds because we can half close them for some privacy from neighbours- hate nets. It's small window just over 1.5 metres across and down.
