Colour suggestions for paint for a northish facing dining room/office

I'm not sure what colour to use , I would really like a change from the current magnolia . The room is small and north facing so I'm thinking a warm colour without going too dark would be good .
Most of the furniture is beech coloured ( which I will have to keep as on a really tight budget) Any suggestions ?

I have just used Timeless by Dulux in my conservatory (ok, not the darkest of rooms, but wanted to keep it very light), its a very very light almost white cream, and I tnink it'll go with beech nicely.

We have Laura Ashley Chamomile in our dark lounge and dining room. Gives it a nice warm glow, even on a dingy day like today, without being garish. Cowslip is nice, too.
