Filament bulbs

Is there such a thing as a repro filament bulb? ie an energy saving one? Preferably that costs less than £20 and actually lights a room up... From some googling it would seem that the answer is no.

(I'm aware it's a horribly hipster look. But our new house, which we can't afford to do up properly has some wall lights with smashed glass shades. I thought bare filament-y bulbs would be a good temporary solution).

Do you mean these sort of things - www.amazon.co.uk/Vintage-light-bulb-squirrel-fashioned/dp/B00ADPHNCA

You can get energy saving ones as well if you google "squirel cage bulbs" - we have one in the kitchen and it looks fab!
