Possible to colour match a F&B white?

I have been looking for a shade of white to paint the interior of our house in. I really like F&B Wimbourne white but cannot afford F&B prices. I have found a decorator who claims he can match F&B colours. I am wondering if it is possible to exactly match a shade of white? I'm also wondering if there is a white in a cheaper range that is similar to Wimbourne?

Virtually all my house is painted in johnsons copy of winbourne White.
Personally I couldn't tell the difference between the copy and the original so went for the far cheaper option and love it!

I have also had an F and B off white - Pointing - colour matched very successfully by my decorator. Definitely worth the vast savings!

I am sure it will be fine. We have this idea that we will spend our days staring at the shade of white on our walls when in reality we rarely give these things a second thought once decorating is over.

They can match the colour really well but the chalky texture is harder to copy.... You won't notice once it's done though.

Thanks for the comments. Have got some F&B samples and decided that I like All White. Would like to see it next to plain Matt Dulux white. Wondering if there is any difference...

You might find this really helpful you can type in any paint F&B or another and it'll tell you the equivalent in other brands.

We have colour matched F&B all over the house in a dead for matt finish. Any decent decorating centre will do it

B&Q - Valspar, huge range of colours, they claim to match anything.
