Myself and DH received this beautiful bowl and the matching wine glasses for our wedding a few months ago. I love having this sat out on our kitchen worktop, but I think it needs something inside it! What would you do with this bowl, or what would you use it for?

Because of the engraving/etching, I wouldn't put anything in it tbh. Use it as a fruit bowl perhaps?

MrsLettuce · 02/03/2015 22:14

Could you use it for naice candles?

AnnieMorel · 02/03/2015 22:17

Lemons and limes?

I don't think it needs anything in. I'd have it on my window ledge where the sun would catch it.

It's lovely ( and I'm not normally one for ornaments or vases and the like)

I would make a mahusive angel delight in it

Fill it with water and put some tops of flowers in it, maybe some floating candles, like this...

Put some fairy lights in it.

It's a good shape for a trifle. Otherwise - just admire it on a windowsill.

Yes I thought trifle. Would look great at Christmas.

EmNetta · 02/03/2015 23:25

I'd just move it to a safer place than the worktop.

BackforGood · 02/03/2015 23:42

I too would put it away somewhere safe, and get it out for trifle on special occasions, to ensure I still had it to appreciate many years later. Smile

Thanks so much for all the suggestions!

I think it's nice as it is. Keep it well dusted and put it in good light.
