Chest of drawers for open plan kitchen, lounge, diner

I'm trying to find a set of drawers for our open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, but everything I look at seems very bedroomy or officey.

Its basically gonna be for all the bits of crap that seem to currently collect on our kitchen counter. Receipts, coins, letters, pens, batteries, random screwdrivers etc., so really could do with shallow drawers.

My budget is IKEA level and we have a white, grey, neutral theme going on.

Thanks

Forgot to add, we don't really need anything with cupboard space like a sideboard, we just need drawer space

What size?

Sweep70 · 01/03/2015 15:52

Max size is 120x60 footprint but that would mean tight access to a door, so probably about 80-100x50cm

www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2474311.htm#pdpFullProductInformation too modern? This range is good quality as is their Foley range both substantially reduced atm

When we got the kitchen we got mainly cupboards as they were cheaper, but I now really regret not getting drawers. The kitchen style is a bit like IKEA Bodbyn in white and grey
