We have to by a new cooker we have had a rangemaster in the past which we liked. We've looked at the Britannia and prefer the hob layout. Has anyone got one - or know if they are worth the extra £

I have a brittania - I didnt choose it as it was in house when we moved. However, great cooker and I would certainly recommend and buy another. I have used it for 6 years and it has been very reliable and I haven't had a single problem. I have an induction hob but would choose gas next time - just my preference

Don't buy the Rangemaster - I have just bought a new Rangemaster Classic 90 and discovered that it has a new cooling fan on the back which is incredibly noisy. When you turn the oven or the grill on it starts up like a jet engine and continues at the same level while you are cooking. So noisey it can be heard in the dining room and sounds like a vaccuum cleaner is on in the kitchen all the time. TERRIBLE! Have had the fan motor changed by an engineer, with no effect on the noise. Apparently this is 'normal' for this model ....Huge disappointment.

LFTCH123 - how disappointing we had a 110 previously and it was brilliant

Britannia's customer sevice is appalling! Cooker is great when it works but I had to wait nearly three months for them to order and fit the correct part

We have a Britannia and I love it. We even moved it with us when we moved house. We had a problem initially with one of the gas rings and they came and fixed it that week. Plus I love the look of it.
