So, want to update the woodwork before doing any cosmetic decorating. Want to change the architraves, skirting. The doors will need changing. I'm not loaded but want it to look right. What would you do? Get the frames/architraves swapped out to bare pine and then get nice moulded cream doors or the other way around as in get moulded mdf architraving (which means I can leave the painted frames) and then get solid wood doors? I just don't know! And how odd would deep pine skirting look with cream architrave?
