made to measure blinds - help!

Anyone got any experience of made to measure blinds on the net? Any tips to think about before you buy? Not got standard sized windows and need blinds for a bedroom and family room both south facing. any ideas?

I would call a service, to be honest. Get them to come to you, measure up and quote. See how the price compares for the level of service.

Definitely call a fitter who will supply and fit. It's relatively low cost, we've done that for our windows. No way would I fit our own blinds, or trust a made to measure service, too many variables!

I'd look up the yellow pages and see if there are any specialist shops doing made to measure blinds. I don't think I'd do it over the internet. They come and measure up and give you a quote. Really simple and straightforward.

I used wooden blinds direct for landing window, it was fine
